Say hello to your new favorite summer hack: a three-ingredient mango yogurt popsicle that's creamy, refreshing, and sneakily packed with 5g of protein per pop.
It takes almost no time to throw together-literally a blend, pour, and freeze vibe. Set it and forget it till the next day, and boom: tropical vibes with a side of low-effort protein in one handheld treat.

I'll admit, popsicles are not always my go to over the summer, or when I want something cold. I prefer to make a green smoothie, or to make a cold coffee.
What I love about these mango yogurt popsicles is that they're LOADED with protein, take just minutes to put together, and you've got a fantastic and filling snack for the rest of the week.

Morgan's Recipe Rundown
- Taste - These popsicles are creamy, slightly tangy, with flavors like mango and a hint of vanilla from the whey protein.
- Cook Level - If you know how to use a blender, then you absolutely can make these popsicles no questions asked. Just be sure to give the popsicles ample time to chill and set before serving.
- Cook Time: I do suggest to let the popsicle mixture set overnight to give them enough time to set and crystalize. You don't want to take the popsicles out too soon or else they run the risk of falling apart.
- Best Served With: If you're looking to plan the ultimate backyard party, these popsicles are great when served with my fresh fruit trifle, my strawberry and basil Caprese salad, and my caesar pasta salad.
Trusted Tips and Key Reminders
- Let it Set: As I mentioned before, you need to give the popsicles time to rest. The liquid mixture will freeze really well if left alone (aka don't keep checking!!) and if it is given the time to sit overnight. Trust me, I've tried a few times to do just 2-3 hours and it just wasn't enough time.
- Add Enough Mango: The first time I made these, I didn't put enough mango nectar in so it really only tasted like yogurt. You could also take a small taste of the liquid after blending to see what else you might want to add.
- Use Silicone Molds: If you can, use silicone molds. They are so easy to clean, prep, and store!

The Main Ingredients
- Mango Nectar - Yes, you could of course use fresh mango, but who has time for that? I opted to make this incredibly simple and easy so I used mango nectar from the store.
- Whey Protein - The whey protein that I live and swear by is from Ancient Nutrition, and this one in particular adds 23 grams of protein with just a hint of vanilla bean flavor. There's no weird taste either. HUGE win!
- Greek Yogurt - You can really use whatever type of yogurt you want here, but I love greek yogurt, and always have it in the house. I like using full fat, whole milk greek yogurt for this, but feel free to use an oat-milk or cashew-milk greek yogurt instead.

Simple Swaps and Substitutions
- Please feel free to use whatever type of yogurt you want in these popsicles.
- If you want to make these popsicles with a different type of fruit (such as apricot, peach, raspberry, etc.) you can still do so. If you are using a berry, I would suggest to blend the berries first, then strain using a mesh sieve to get out all the seeds, and THEN add back to the blender with the yogurt and protein powder.
- Plant-based protein works really well in this recipe too, so use whatever type of protein you prefer.

Notes
Nutrition

Any popsicles you are not actually going to eat that day, you do not need to take out of the silicone mold. Leave in the mold for up to a week or two, if you want to remove them from the mold, add them to a plastic food storage bag and freeze for up to one month.
Add a little more mango nectar, or some frozen mango to the blender, and blend and taste. It's really all a matter of preference for the strength of the mango flavor.
I mean, you don't HAVE to, but it defeats the purpose of having a high protein popsicle. These popsicles are on average 4-5 grams of protein per pop, so the addition is sort of important. IF you really feel deeply about not adding it, don't do it.
