Who doesn't love a wrap? They're incredibly versatile, can be warmed up or served cold, and are a great handheld option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This quick chicken caesar salad wrap is packed with all the essentials from crunchy croutons, to tender grilled chicken, and of course, a generous serving of parmesan and caesar dressing.

I am a sandwich's biggest fan. Truly, I love a good chicken caprese pressed panini or a stacked turkey club sandwich. I also cannot resist a homemade sloppy joe slider. But a wrap? It's a lunchtime go to, and it's an easy meal prep option for during the week (so no more spending money on $25 salads 👀).

The Main Ingredients

- Tortillas - there's so many different sizes of tortillas out there, but the ones I used are from Trader Joe's (homemade flour tortillas) and they're perfect size.
- Chicken - I like using plain grilled chicken for this wrap.
- Croutons - croutons, to me, are essential for a chicken caesar salad wrap.
- Caesar dressing - Newman's Own is a favorite of mine, and you don't need more than two tablespoons.
- Parmesan cheese - fresh grated or pre-grated works great.
- Lettuce - any fresh, crispy, crunchy greens work here like butter lettuce, romaine, or iceberg.

Recipe Swaps and Substutions
- Instead of using grilled chicken, feel free to swap with a chicken cutlet likely my pan fried juicy chicken cutlets. They're amazing. Trust me.
- Rather than a creamy caesar dressing, you can use a lighter version or make your own.
- Make it vegan with a meat alternative and vegan-friendly parmesan and dressing.
- Make this into a caesar salad flatbread by adding all of the ingredients to a flatbread and cutting into slices, kind of like my barbecue chicken flatbread.
How to make a classic chicken caesar wrap

Step 1: In a medium bowl, add lettuce with diced grilled chicken and croutons.

Step 2: To the bowl, grate in fresh parmesan cheese.

Step 3: Last, pour the caesar salad dressing on top and toss to combine.

Step 4: Add some of the salad to a tortilla and roll into a wrap. Slice in half and serve.
Mistakes I've Made (so YOU don't have to!)
- I would be wary of how much of the salad mix you're adding to the wrap itself. It's unfortunately a trial and error game with wraps, but the heavier the wrap is, the harder it is to fold and will unfortunately fall apart leaving you screaming profanities at an inanimate object because it couldn't hold it together. Anyway, just don't overstuff the wrap, 'kay?
- Don't overdo it with the dressing. Sure, you want the flavors of the caesar dressing to come through, but too much dressing will yield a very soggy, very sad looking wrap that leaks and drips everywhere. You shouldn't need 25 napkins to eat this.

Caesar Salad Wrap FAQs
If you plan on prepping this ahead of time, you can absolutely do so, but remember that croutons get soggy. If that doesn't bother then, then go for it all at once. Otherwise, keep the croutons separate and add when you want to make the wrap.
Yes! Use your favorite gluten free croutons and wraps. I would also suggest warming up the gluten free wraps ahead of rolling and using them so that they do not fall apart.
