Every time you choose to visit and make a recipe on the Internet, you make a decision: whether or not the person creating the recipe is trustworthy, and I'm here to tell you exactly why you should trust nomastehungry.com for all of your recipe needs.

About Nomaste Hungry
Nomaste Hungry is a play on words -"stay hungry" is essentially the meaning and mission behind what I do on nomastehungry.com. My last name, Peaceman, also connecting to the name of the website, given that I try to stay as grounded and grateful in all aspects of my life. Of course, part of that has a great deal to do with the types of recipes I provide here. For now, I am the sole person running the blog, with my husband as my 'creative director', my son the unofficial taste tester, with another little foodie on the way! I've built a community of blogger friends that I rely on to troubleshoot recipe ideas, website updates, and social media support. Without them, I wouldn't be here.
I've been featured in LA Weekly, PureWow, The Kitchn, and have written and developed recipes for Local Hive Honey, Organic Valley, The FeedFeed, and more. I've also had the incredible opportunity to be featured on the Food Blogger Pro podcast and the That's Delicious podcast. Most recently, one of my recipes was published and featured in the September/October issue of Bake From Scratch magazine.
My mission is to make the kitchen accessible for families by creating easy, approachable, and versatile recipes that you can enjoy over and over again. There's simply no time for complicating mealtime, let me help you make it stress free!
So, Why Trust Me?
This blog is dedicated to providing families recipes that are quick, easy, and stress-free. With my experience working in restaurants, being a self-taught baker, and having years of experience with cooking for others in my own kitchen, I've learned a thing or two about navigating the kitchen and what meals mean the most to my family. Trusting me means you'll find ample recipes that are:
- freezer friendly
- meal-prep forward
- under 30 minutes
- leftover friendly
I am consistently updating and retesting older recipes while also developing trending, quality, seasonal recipes to satisfy every season and palette. My goal is to ensure your time on my site is user-friendly, helpful, and can answer the question "what's for dinner tonight?"

What the Readers Are Saying
Feedback is one of my favorite aspects of owning a business and developing and sharing recipes. The focus of the recipes on Nomaste Hungry are all about easy, approachable, quick family friendly recipes using wholesome, simple ingredients you can find at any store. No need to run to gourmet shops to make my recipes, I guarantee it. Feedback from dedicated readers include:
- Recipes are easy to follow: There's no second guessing what measurement is needed for each ingredient, no unknown kitchen tool or equipment, or which step goes first. With a background in teaching, I know the importance of making steps clear and easy to read when breaking down tasks, especially when it comes to recipes.
- The recipes are simple and uncomplicated: No recipe will make you go running to a store hours away just to buy one ingredient and use it once. I don't believe in making anyone go to great lengths to find what they need. Rather, I make it easy for anyone to head into your local grocer to find exactly what the recipe asks for. No tricks here!
- Every recipe is made with passion and care: I am a very passionate person by nature, and spend a great amount of time reviewing, researching, testing and retesting each and every recipe I publish on this site. I love what I do. The best feeling in the world is knowing someone is making a recipe of mine for their family. It makes me feel like I'm apart of their family at that moment.
- Each recipe has a story to tell: There will never be a recipe that is AI generated on this site. I write each recipe post the way I would communicate it to a friend, or my partner. I like to make sure that my voice and my tone comes through in each post, because above anything else, I'm a human.
