Place a medium glass and TEMPERED bowl on top of a medium pot of water, then bring to a boil.
Add the melting chocolate wafers, then stir until they are fully melted. Once melted, remove from the heat but keep on top of the pot of water.
Dip the unwrapped rice krispie treat into the green melted chocolate halfway, then lay on a cooling rack for a few minutes.
Once the chocolate has set for a little while (maybe 5-10 minutes tops), dip into the sprinkles to make "hair".
Add the candy eyes and set in the fridge for up to one to two hours. Once fully set, remove, and make the stitches using the black icing.
Notes
Have everything prepped ahead of time! Unwrap the rice krispie treats, pour out the desired amount of sprinkles, and snip the black icing so that as the chocolate melts, you're ready to dip and assemble.Use a tempered glass bowl over a boiling pot of water to melt the chocolate, called the double boiler method. This helps to melt the green chocolate evenly AND keeps it from hardening quickly.Let the rice krispie treats set a little before dipping into the sprinkles. My first go round of these, the sprinkles slipped right off because the chocolate was still too wet.
