Halloween Graveyard (Chocolate Pudding Dirt Cake) Recipe

Celebrate spooky season with this graveyard, aka dirt cake. Decadent chocolate pudding with layered crumbled cookies is the perfect "treat."

Equipment

  • food processor
  • glass or ceramic dish
  • spatula
  • spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 10 chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, add in the chocolate cookie sandwiches and cover. Blend or pulse until the cookies become a fine crumble. Set aside.
  • Take a medium-sized casserole dish/pyrex/glass tupperware and scoop 3-4 large tablespoons of pudding into the dish.
  • With a spatula or the back of a spoon, spread the pudding evenly across the dish. Top with crumbled cookies. Add in the halloween decorations such as graveyard tombstones and creepy monster hands.

Notes

If you don't want to messy up the kitchen with a food processor, you can add the cookies to a ziplock, and using a rolling pin, crush the cookies on the counter with the pin. This is also a fun activity to get kids involved with!
